Police have discovered human remains in west London as part of their investigation into body parts found in suitcases in Bristol. Officers found these remains on Friday in a flat located on Scotts Road in Shepherd’s Bush. They believe that these remains, along with those discovered two days earlier at the Clifton Suspension Bridge, belong to the same two men.
The Metropolitan Police have identified a suspect in this case, Yostin Andres Mosquera, a 24-year-old Colombian national. They have issued a warning to the public not to approach him, as he is considered dangerous. The police believe that both victims knew Mr. Mosquera, although their identities have not yet been formally confirmed.
The police are handling the removal of the remains in London with great care and sensitivity. They plan to carry out post-mortem examinations as soon as possible to gather more information. On Friday afternoon, a cordon was set up on Scotts Road to secure the area.

However, locating Yostin Andres Mosquera remains our top priority. I appeal to anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.”

Just before midnight on Wednesday, Avon and Somerset Police received a report of a man with a suitcase acting suspiciously on the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Responding quickly, officers arrived at the scene within 10 minutes. However, by the time they reached the bridge, the man in question had already left, leaving behind the suitcase that had raised concerns. Not far from the initial location, a second suitcase was also discovered, adding to the intrigue and urgency of the situation.
Witnesses provided various accounts that painted a broader picture of the events that unfolded that night. One observer described a tense and unusual scene where a cyclist seemed to be in pursuit of the suspect, with both individuals shouting at each other as they moved. This added an element of confrontation and urgency to the unfolding narrative.
Another detailed account came from Giles Malone, who was waiting for an Uber near The Mall pub. As he waited, he noticed two men carrying suitcases across the road. He described the scene vividly, recounting how one man crossed the street with another man, each time carrying a very heavy-looking suitcase. They repeated this action, each time placing the suitcases down on the pavement right next to where Malone was standing.
In an attempt to lighten the mood or perhaps out of genuine curiosity, Malone and his companions made a remark about the suitcases, suggesting that they looked so heavy they might contain bodies. This comment, however, was met with silence from the men, who did not offer any response. This interaction only added to the mystery and suspicion surrounding the suitcases and their contents.
Further descriptions from Malone provided more details about the individuals involved. He noted that the two men, one black and one white, were accompanied by a white woman. This group of three individuals, along with their mysterious actions and the heavy suitcases, created a scene that left witnesses puzzled and police officers with more questions than answers as they continued their investigation.
The police say the suspect traveled from London to Bristol on Wednesday. He then took a taxi to the suspension bridge. The police have taken the taxi driver’s vehicle.
On Friday afternoon, the police shared two images of the man they were looking for, now identified as Mr. Mosquera. They described him as a black man with a beard, wearing a gold earring. He also had a black Adidas baseball cap, black jeans, a black jacket, black trainers with thick white soles, and a black backpack.
